About Sam Fell
Sam Fell is a British film director, screenwriter, voice actor and animator. He directed Flushed Away in 2006 and The Tale of Despereux. He was an animator at Aardman Animations and worked on short films and television. He currently working as director for live-action film, that will primer in 2011
Sam Fell started his career as director on the short film The Big Cheese for 3 Peach Animation. He then joined Aardman and worked on projects like Pop, Peter Lord's Oscar-nominated short film Wat's Pig, as well was Rex the Runt, before directing 2002 project Chump.
In 2006 he directed Aardman's feature film Flushed Away, and also provided the voices for the characters Liam, the Prophet, Ladykiller and Fanseller. In 2007 he joined visual effects house Framestore and directed the 2008 feature The Tale of Despereaux, and also provided the voices of the characters Ned and Smudge.
He is currently directing the upcoming 2011, live-action film, Demonkeeper.
