About Daisy Haggard
Daisy Haggard is a British actress.
The daughter of film director Piers Haggard and his wife Anna Slovsky she was raised and educated in Dulwich, South London at the James Allen's Girls' School.
After making her television acting debut in the ITV Ruth Rendell Mysteries series in 1996 in the episode "Spinny Crossland", she graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Haggard is most famous for her roles in the BBC Three sketch show Man Stroke Woman and in the Channel 4 sitcom Green Wing as Emmy. She has a brief appearance in an episode of Peep Show playing a nurse.
She can be seen in BBC 2 comedy Psychoville by The League of Gentlemen writers Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, in which she plays the role of a pantomime actress, Debbie, and as Emma in the BBC2 sitcom The Persuasionists. In the 2008 adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, she plays the role of Miss Steele, the sister of Lucy Steele.
Also in 2008, she played Donna Mitchell in Ashes to Ashes Series 2 Episode 6.
She was also the voice of a lift in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
In 2010, Haggard appeared in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) film for television, Abroad, playing a young woman called Poppy Young. She also appeared in "The Lodger" in Series 5 of Doctor Who and stars in the 2010 British independent film, Honeymooner.
In 2011, she appeared in the BBC/Showtime comedy Episodes.
