About Matthew Polenzani
Matthew Polenzani (* 1968) is an American lyric tenor, born in Evanston, Illinois. He has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera of New York, the Seattle Opera, and other companies. He has also sung with numerous symphony orchestras. Polenzani earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1990.
Polenzani won the Richard Tucker Award in 2004. He is married to mezzo-soprano Rosa Maria Pascarella. Singer-songwriter Rose Polenzani is his sister.
