Open letter from Anushka Rao to Gauri Shinde
“Dear Zindagi ”

Hello Gauri Shinde,

I am Anushka, a young adult who is 16 years old and soon going to be in class 12. I watched your hit movie, Dear Zindagi starring Alia Bhatt few months ago on Netflix. After watching this movie, I watched many interviews that you gave before and after the release of the movie. In one of those interviews you said that this movie is based on your life experiences. I love the character of Dr. Jehangir Khan starring Shahrukh Khan in the movie. This movie has not only made my issues with my mother far more less but also has given a different perspective in life. There are many things that we don’t understand as children but once we grow up and then rethink about it, many times we are able to forgive the other person. What I want to know from you is what else did you psychologist teach you other than the things you showed in the movie? If you ever see this open letter, do reply me.
