26 February 2026,

Bonjour Clint Eastwood,
I hope this letter finds you well.

I have wanted to write to you for a long time to express my deepest gratitude and admiration. I have been following your career for more than forty years now, and during that time, I have watched nearly 97% of the films you have acted in or directed. You hold the largest place in my personal film library and in many ways, in my cinematic life.

From your unforgettable performances in films like Dirty Harry to the masterpieces you directed such as Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, and your more recent works, your films have consistently meant more to me than simple entertainment. They carry values integrity, responsibility, courage, resilience, and moral reflection that speak to those willing to truly listen.

For decades, you have entertained me, moved me, and inspired me. In your later films especially, I deeply appreciate the way you highlight the value of actions, consequences, and the weight of choices. There is always humanity in your stories even in their silence.

Thank you for the honesty, strength, and depth you have brought to cinema. Your work has accompanied me through much of my life, and for that, I am sincerely grateful.

With great respect and admiration.
Ludovic Brancquart
