“Short-documentary about quality journalism”

Hello Élise Lucet,

my name is Carlo Hofmann and I am a director and cameraman living in Austria.
I’m reaching out to you because together with a colleague I am currently working on a documentary-film about quality journalism. Mainly our movie has been shot in Austria at the ORF (public service broadcasting). Among other interview-partners, Anchorman Armin Wolf (Grimme Prize Award-Winner) is part of our documentary.

In order to lift up our movie to an international level we are looking for serious journalists who can give us some answers to fundamental questions about their quality work, e.g.
What is quality journalism?
Why is it so important for democracy?
How do you exercise your daily work based on journalistic guidelines?
and overall important about their personal experience concerning fake news in their daily work

If you reach out to me personally I will provide you with a password-secured link to show you the first 6 minutes of our movie.
We hope to convince you that we want to realize a high-standard film. We like to submit our movie to filmfestivals worldwide.

As we are an independent production we don’t have the ability to visit you. We think about doing the interview via skype or facetime.
